WHILE proceeding with recruitment processes to appoint a new chief financial officer, the Alfred Nzo District Municipality has this week announced the appointment of Sihle Khuzo to fill the position as acting chief financial officer.

Khozo fills the position left vacant by Unathi Mahlasela.

Municipal spokesperson Luncedo Walaza said that the appointment of Khozo was made effective from May 1 for a period not exceeding three months, pending the finalisation of the recruitment process for a permanent chief financial officer.

“Khuzo is currently responsible for expenditure, budget reporting and annual financial statements (AFS),” he said.
