ELECTS FC ended the HollywoodBets regional league in a better position than previously after defeating Allegro FC 6-5 in penalties at the Thandanani Stadium, Matatiele, last Sunday, May 11.
The club played the league representing the Alfred Nzo district and finished in the fifth position of the log.
Club manager Inga Mabetshe said the winning decider game against Allegro FC was a victory, not only for players but for club fans too.
“Every player contributed to this victory and we are proud of their performance” he said.
Now that the league season has come to an end, Mabetshe said that Elects FC will play local tournaments. The league is anticipated to reopen in September.
